Command Alkon Quarterly Update April 2024 Q2

Dear Command Alkon Stakeholders,

In this quarterly update, I have some exciting news to share on how we are helping you to improve profitability, quality, customer service, and employee experience. As always, we are committed to delivering innovative product solutions for our core markets – ready mix/concrete, aggregates and asphalt.

Quick Facts

  • Cloud Investment: As recently announced in a press release, we are committing an additional $20M investment to accelerate the rollout of additional, advanced cloud features for our Ready Mix customers in 2024 and to extend Command Cloud for the Aggregates and Asphalt markets in early 2025. This represents a significant step towards modernizing the industry with a unified cloud platform that delivers unparalleled efficiency and seamless integration for vertically integrated, multi-materials businesses.

  • Modern User Interface: At the end of this month, we are unveiling our new cloud Dispatch User Interface, which represents a reinvention of intuitive, cloud-based processes. This new interface provides a fresh, modern user experience that is easier to learn, easier to use, and available on any desktop or mobile device. This release will also include our next generation of analytics dashboards that you can configure to visualize your business and drive profitability.

  • Load Assurance (Air): To complement our Load Assurance for Slump measurement IoT product, we are launching our Load Assurance for Air measurement IoT product in April to help ready mix operations drive profitability and improve quality.

  • TrackIt: In July, we will be offering Deliveries, a new material delivery management module for drivers, as well as a cloud-native Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) module.

  • Material Supply: Since launch in January, producers are seeing immediate value in their ability to manage their incoming raw materials deliveries, update material receipts to production systems, and balance raw materials needs with daily production demand.

  • Customer Portal: Recent enhancements include in-app notifications for truck-in-route and will call orders as well as load properties data being available for trucks with Load Assurance sensors. Coming next to improve your communications and collaboration with your customers are text messaging features and visibility into invoices.

  • Sales & Quoting: We will be launching a new Command Cloud Sales & Quoting module this September to empower you to efficiently manage your pipeline from lead to close. If you have interest in providing inputs to our cloud-based Sales & Quoting functionality you can sign up here and we will be in touch.

  • Artificial Intelligence: At the core of Command Cloud is advanced, Generative AI and Machine Learning capabilities that create efficiency, increase profitability, and drive decision making in real-time. Industry customized AI capabilities will be embedded within each Command Cloud product to deliver insights for business management, drive workflow optimization, and allow you to make the best choices for your success.

  • Command Cloud API Approach: Command Cloud leverages open APIs to allow you to interface our industry-specific solutions with your other best-in-class technology systems and third-party providers. This approach empowers you with flexibility to choose the best possible solutions for your business processes and organizational needs.

  • Elevate Conference: For over 30 years we’ve enjoyed gathering for our Customer Conference to share the latest in industry technology, trends, and best practices. This fall we will be hosting our ELEVATE Conference, including TRAININGdays, in Austin, Texas. Please save the dates of October 28th through 31st in your calendar. We will be opening registration for this event in June and look forward to hosting the industry for another amazing conference.

At this time, I would like to invite you to participate in a 60-minute Company and Product Update Webinar on April 30th at 10am CDT. Ranjeev Teelock, our Chief Product Officer, will share more details about our exciting roadmap and release schedule. Brett Bertz, our Chief Customer Officer, will cover our enhancements to customer experience and how we are helping customers get ready to migrate to the cloud.
