41 | Embark platform. For clarity, CONNEX is not a product, it is simply a robust technology platform. We are now rapidly rolling out applications that run on this platform and allow our customers to meet today's business challenges. Since each customer has their own unique business drivers, we have mapped out a digital progression journey for our customers. Our seasoned experts can now come alongside each customer and help them establish where they currently are and where they want to progress to on their unique digital journey. Based on our experience, there are some critical things to consider as you embark on your own digital transformation journey. • Corporate Strategy: The best companies think of their digital strategies as corporate strategies. Digital transformation can truly reshape a business to help enhance customer experiences, gain efficiencies, and drive profitability. Digital strategies are not simply an IT project. • Lead from the Top: Related to the first point, we find that successful digital transformation occurs when the executive leadership visibility supports the initiatives. • Develop a Roadmap: As the saying goes, "if you don't know where you are going, then any road will take you there." You can avoid that trap by having a clear roadmap and plan for both your company's future and the utilization of technology. • Embrace Change: I like the John Maxwell quote, "Change is inevitable, growth is optional." We are in changing times whether we like it or not. Creating a culture that is ready to welcome the changes and lead the market is the opportunity. We encourage customers to not just think about the technology they want to adopt, but to also consider the changes to process and people needs. • Measure for Success: As you develop your digital roadmap and embrace the necessary changes, there needs to be checkpoints and measurements of success. These transformations can sometimes be long term projects, so it is important to not just monitor the progress but also to celebrate the successes along the way. We are seeing customers, both small and large, who are adopting the technology shifts and starting to outperform their competition. In our industry as in many others, there will start to be a gulf between those companies that have fully digitally transformed their businesses and those who are struggling to adapt. We are very focused as a company in helping all customers who want to improve their business through technology to achieve their goals. By combining the right technology with unmatched industry experience, we are committed to partnering with our customers to meet them where they are, plan for the future, and implement winning strategies.
