So, Lauren Concrete's suppliers would come to the plant and unload their trucks while the operations manager or plant manager would accept the load through CONNEX via their mobile app. "It actually made us more efficient because we didn't have to waste that time going through that paperwork process and everything's tracked all the way up to the plant," said Ryan Cupps, Operations Manager at Lauren Concrete. CONNEX Inbound Materials takes the information found on paper tickets and digitizes it to automatically update inventory and reconcile material and haul tickets with invoices, so that Lauren Concrete can focus on their inbound processes as much as they do their outbound processes. As inbound deliveries occur, digitized data flows into the system and automatically updates inventory levels so that they are confident that they have the materials on hand to complete their orders for the day.
