Easterseals Recognizes Command Alkon with Partnership Award
Easterseals serves people and families who face a wide range of disabilities, including physical, emotional, intellectual, social and educational. Their mission is to remove physical, cultural, attitudinal and legal obstacles so people with disabilities have every opportunity to live meaningful and productive lives, on their own terms.
Last May, Command Alkon partnered with Easterseals during Make a Difference May, a month where company leadership empowered teams of employees to seek out and implement ways to give back to the community and those in need. One result of this month-long marathon of community stewardship was a Crawfish Boil with all proceeds benefitting Easterseals. This month Easterseals presented Command Alkon with their Partnership Award in recognition of this effort.
As the major organizers of the Crawfish Boil, Command Alkoners, Amanda Skinner and Mark Sinclair, accepted the award on behalf of Command Alkon. David Higgins, Executive Director of Birmingham Easterseals, is shown presenting the award at left.
We look forward to what partnerships with Easterseals and other organizations that serve communities and individuals with particular needs can do to make a difference every month of the year.
