Today is an exciting day in the heavy building material industry. One of our trusted partners, HCSS has announced they have entered into an agreement to be acquired by our current owner, Thoma Bravo.
HCSS is a CONNEX Connected Partner of Command Alkon. While Command Alkon delivers value in bringing visibility into the heavy building materials that flow into construction jobsites around the world, HCSS focuses on the overall project management of those construction jobs, where materials and hauling account for roughly 30% of overall project costs. Our CONNEX partnership allows us to collaborate to deliver digital workflows that carry real-time information and shared processes across the heavy building materials supply.
Removing paper-based workflows while automating order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes boosts the speed of ordering heavy building materials, provides transparency and visibility into material movements and payments, and significantly improves overall productivity and efficiencies for all constituents on a job. In partnership with HCSS, we are harmonizing information digitally, from supplier production, schedule, dispatch, and transportation management systems through to software solutions in the hands of contractors and owners to enrich the experience for buyers and sellers alike.
Steve Cox, Vice President of Business Development at Command Alkon, elaborates on the value of our partnership with HCSS. “HCSS has been an exceptional partner to Command Alkon. Our continued work with HCSS and other partners is key to the adoption and value the CONNEX platform delivers to the industry. We are thrilled that HCSS will be joining the Thoma Bravo family and look forward to our continued and mutually beneficial relationship as construction industry technology providers.”
