Command Alkon continues its legacy of community service this year with “Make a Difference Day” and other company-wide community volunteer opportunities. Last year, Command Alkon introduced the “Make a Difference in May” program and had a great success with employees volunteering to make a difference for a non-profit organization during the month of May. This year, Make a Difference 2018 served as a pilot program where each department chose a non-profit organization to support through a service project of their choice during any month that their schedule allowed, as long as it was during the 2018 calendar year.
All year round, Command Alkon employees give their time, talent and resources to community organizations. When it comes to giving back, our associates are all in. Our company is truly made up of passionate employees who care about getting personally involved in community efforts, and are continuously looking for more ways to reach out.
In order to create vibrant communities, we believe we must do our part to roll up our sleeves and make a difference. Command Alkon supports several community involvement priorities; from fighting hunger, to assisting homeless Veterans, to disaster relief efforts.
