Command Alkon Named Top Logistics IT Provider

Selected for Enabling Digital Transformation in the Heavy Construction Industry

Command Alkon has been named a Top Logistics IT Provider for 2020 by Inbound Logistics magazine.

Each year, Inbound Logistics’ editors research capabilities based on submitted questionnaires and other sources, then select 100 technology providers offering solutions designed to meet business logistics managers’ supply chain challenges. Command Alkon was selected for enabling digital transformation of supply chains in the heavy construction industry through their CONNEX platform.

“We are extremely pleased to be selected from the hundreds of nominations for this year’s Inbound Logistics list of top logistics software and technology providers," said Ed Rusch, VP of Marketing at Command Alkon. "CONNEX brings visibility to operations for real-time tracking of material shipments, enabling collaboration between trading partners while streamlining operations. New capabilities to trace in-transit material properties only serve to enrich the value of the platform through productivity gains and certainty of outcomes for heavy-civil and heavy-commercial construction projects.”

“The importance of supply chain and logistics technology solutions has been brought to the forefront for many businesses as a result of the current situation that we all face,” said Felecia Stratton, Editor-in-Chief, Inbound Logistics magazine. “Our audience is expressing increased interest in how technology solutions can help provide visibility and hone execution.”

Command Alkon also earned a Top 10 finish for its CONNEX Platform as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2020 by Fast Company magazine. CONNEX automates and digitizes key supply chain processes for heavy materials, bringing visibility and a single version of the truth to all stakeholders connected to the platform. The result is the certainty of outcomes on projects, ensuring the ability to meet time and budget goals.

The Top 100 Logistics IT Providers list appears in all the April 2020 magazine editions and will be posted online by the end of April. The Top 100 data drives the Logistics IT Decision Support Tool at www.inboundlogistics.com/cms/search-tool/logistics-it where the Inbound Logistics audience can enter their IT requirements and match the solutions providers best suited to their needs.
